For some people using alcohol and drug, testing can mean the difference between prison and freedom. This is a sad reality in today’s world. Even if you can outsmart them, once they find out that you are tricking them, you would only breed distrust, further loosing them to alcohol and drugs.
Gaining the trust of teens is vital to solving alcohol and drug problems. This must be the top priority because in some cases teens find themselves in dangerous life styles due their in ability to stand up for themselves. This can be very difficult to detect if you are very busy with your work. If your child opens up to you, you may address the problem the soonest possible. You can earn trust faster if you were able to provide the child with a sense of security and without that, it would be very difficult to establish trust.
Solution may not be that easy for all cases since there are some teens that really refuse to stop doing alcohol and drugs. However, counseling or radical methods like fully exposing the teen to the dangers of alcohol and drugs in a controlled program may be appropriate in certain situations. Programs like these are popular in China as parents often send their problematic children to camps where they learn to face reality and deal with it appropriately. To further insure that the teens remain clean scheduled, alcohol and drug Testing are done while inside the campus.
